Blog 11 - The Murder
Cleake woke up from his adventures to Walter's Lanes more depressed than ever. So desperate from depression that he called his mom in hopes of an engaging conversation. Ring ring... Ring ring... Ring ring... Cleake contemplated hanging up. Ring ring... "Hello?" His mom sounded surprised. "Hey mom, it's Cleake." "Hey darling, is something wrong?" "No mom why would anything be wrong?" "Well it's four in the morning and you hardly ever call me. Leads me to believe you're in trouble and need help." "I didn't realize what time it was. I just wanted to talk to my mom." "Honey, you sound sad, what's wrong?" "Mom, nothing is wrong it's alright." "Okay, then do you want to talk about something or can I go back to sleep?" "I don't really have a specific subject I just want to her your voice." "Cleake, I think something's wrong. It's great to hear from you, but you never want to talk." "I know, mom, and I'm sorry. I just can't seem to find anything else to do." "Honey, something's wrong. I'm going to call the psychiatric at the clinic when I wake up in the morning. His names Bill and he's a good friend of mine. I'll see when he can fit you in." "Alright mom, I think I'm fine, but if that's what you want..." "See, I knew something was wrong. You'd never be so compliant... I'll call you back when I know your appointment time." "Thanks mom. I lo..." Cleake was cut off by the buzzer from his mom hanging up. "ve you..." Cleake wasnt sleepy so he sat there staring at all waiting on his mom to call. Four hours went by where Cleake just sat there staring until his mom called back. Ring ring... "Hey mom." "Hey Cleake. Your appointment is at 3:45. Bill says to get there early because he thinks he'll be early with his 3 o'clock appointment sooner than the time he's allotted." "Alright mom, thanks." "I love you Cleake, but you're scaring me. Hope it goes well. Love you" She hang up immediately. Cleake went back to bed. He couldn't remember anything from the past four and a half hours except for his mom telling him to go to the clinic early for a 3:45 appointment. All that was on his mind was the blur of the recent events, but his thoughts were still seemingly lost. Cleake fell asleep around five thirty in the morning and woke around two p.m. He dressed for his appointment and left the apartments at 2:30. He arrived at the clinic at 2:50 after walking extremely slowly for no real reason. He recognized a woman from his apartment building but didn't bother to say hi. She lived multiple stories over him, and he saw her rarely, concluding in them never speaking before. At three o'clock, he caught her name, Sile N'Bhroin, as she was called into the psychiatric. Cleake had no clue where his obsession for her came from, but he couldn't stop thinking about that name and how angry he was for having to wait on her. Of all of the people he would have wait on it would be Sile. He had never heard her name before but now the very thought her name infuriated him. 3:30 passed and she still hadn't left. 3:45, it was his time for the psychiatric. 4:00, she was using his time, passing him off. Finally, it was 4:30, and she exited the psychiatric. Bill came out and apologized to Cleake for his wait, but regretted to inform Cleake he would not be able to see him today. However, Bill assured him that he would see Cleake first thing in the morning. Cleake didn't mind, all he cared about was how that bitch had stolen his slot. Cleake accepted his offer and left the clinic in a hurry, following Sile. He followed her to her room in Castle Apartments, 783 as Cleake found out. At this point, Cleake couldn't think straight as he rushed down to his apartment to grab a knife. He rushed back up and busted down her door. Blind from rage, he grabbed the startled Sile and stabbed her. Furious with rage, he continued stabbing to assure she would no longer meddle with his appointments... Cleake hadn't even had a real appointment, yet he was willing to kill for them. He dropped the knife and everything went black as he stood over her corpse. One thing was clear, Cleake was insane. Insane from something. The cause was indeterminable. It could have been his depression, the phone call with his mom, or, as simple as, the unknown effect of his lonely prime scores.
Blog 10 - And One More Thing
Cleave woke up and realized that for the first time in a while he had nothing to do all day. No work. No family obligations. No plans. He lay in bed thinking about what he could possibly do for the next fourteen hours (11-1). He couldn't think of anything he truly desired or had the money, so he rose out of bed and found his map of the town. He closed his eyes and moved his finger along the page until he suddenly awoke with his finger on Walter's Lanes. He grinned. He found something that drew some interest in him. Cleake got ready for a day at the bowling alley and left on foot.
Soon after departing Cleake felt a hole in his stomach and decided to stop by at Casa de Waffles to get some breakfast. Upon entering he felt an urge for pancakes, which of course the Casa de WAFFLES did not have. He settled for a waffle, sausage, and grits though and left for Sobchak Lane feeling somewhat pleased.
Cleake entered Sobchak's Lanes and recognized the attendant at the front desk from when he came in to get a job soon after being fired at Forever 21. It seemed ironic to say he got fired at Forever 21 due to their recent fire. Anyways, Cleake approached the desk, causing the attendant to sigh and exclaim, "Look. There still aren't any job openings, so if you'd just leave now it'd really save both our time." Cleake was somewhat surprised since this was not his objective and replied, "Look I'm not here to steal your job. I just want a lane, so I can bowl in peace." The attendant immediately shut it and awkwardly served Cleake without saying another word. Cleake took his lane and instantly nderstood there would not be peace. There was a five year-old's birthday party at the two lanes to the right. Loud shouting and running forced Cleake out of concentration and resulted in poor bowling. 181, Cleake very often bowled a high 200. Cleake, unsatisfied by his results, decided to wait out the birthday party to bowl again. He sat around and thought about what it would be like to work here if he did get that job. Pros: Working with bowlers, not working with animals, bowling, atmosphere of a bowling alley, watching people bowl, etc. The list was nearly endless. Cons: Serving loud birthday partys... The only con was something he was dealing with already. Whatever, Cleake shrugged the thought aside and realized that during his daydream the party had subsided. He got up and played another round. This time bowling a 277. A prime number he thought, just like the 181. Cleake's scores meant something. He just couldn't put his finger on it. His higher score did mend his sorrow slightly as Cleake. However, Cleake still had nothing to do, and the walk home wore the medicine off. Reaching his apartment around 6, Cleake fell asleep depressed again.

Blog 9 - Sunset Grill
Cleake woke up on Friday worn out from the day before. He couldn’t imagine going through yet another tough day at work. He desperately needed a vacation. Anything would do, just to get away from work was enough. He decided he would take a three day vacation, taking Monday off, and talk to his boss about it after work. On his way to work, he began to imagine his vacation when he saw an advertisement for a deal at Disney World for this weekend. He would take a trip to Disney World. All of the pretend happiness of Disney World may rejuvenate the child inside of him. Winnie-the-Pooh, The Little Mermaid, and Toy Story were all so important to him as a child. Maybe they were still important to him. Cleake began to get excited. For once, he actually enjoyed his day at work. At one point, a lovely person by the name of Spring Patterson came in looking for an animal. She had no clue what kind of animal she wants, which normally irritates the shit out of Cleake, but today he was fine with it. He helped her find an animal of her liking, but she eventually decided she didn’t care for it and left empty handed. It didn’t bother Cleake one bit. Afterward, when it was time to ask his boss if he could take his leave he forgot. He got home in a happy mood, then it all sank. He wasn’t going to go on his trip. He thought maybe he could just call in sick on Monday, but that was too risky. He checked the Disney World’s prices on his crappy laptop, so that he may be able to go next weekend, but the price was too damn high. There was no chance for Cleake, so he spiralled back to his sad, depressed self the next day.
Blog 8 - Motifs
Cleake was on his way out Castle Apartments at 6:30 to go to Casa de Waffle before heading to work when he noticed the church lights on. He thought about it and realized he hadn’t been to church since his mom made him go every Sunday. This was partly due to his lack of belief in God, but he wanted to check out the local church anyway. The weather was quite eerie, so Cleake went on to Casa de Waffle before visiting the church. Cleake had (big suprise here) waffles, lots of waffles, four waffles to be exact, and then headed on his way. He checked the time to see if he had enough to visit the church. His watch still read 6:30, just as it had when he left Castle Apartments. He paid no attention to it, assuming that his watch had stopped working. Cleake reached the church and entered to find Pink talking to a ghost. Pink was motionless while it looked like the ghost was talking to him, almost lecturing. Cleake walked up a little bit and heard a small portion of the speech. It sounded as if it was Pink’s dad. Once the ghost recognized Cleake’s presence, the ghost stopped and stared Cleake down. Cleake was frightened and ran out of the church, checked his watch again, and realized he was running late to work as his watch read 8:15.
Blog 7 - The Past Is Always Present
Cleake woke up and pondered his day ahead of him. Immediately, he thought he might be able to sneak into work late, which would insure less time with the animals at Alfonso’s Pets. After a sequence of thoughts, Cleake had a question for himself. “Why is it that I hate animals so much?” Looking to his past, Cleake found an answer.
Cleake was walking to a friend’s house at the age of three. On his way, a dog barked viciously at him from behind a fence. It startled and scared Cleake causing him to run home and cry to his mom. He showed up so late to his friend’s house that they hardly had anytime to play, and when he told his friend why he was so late, his friend laughed at him, feeling no sympathy for Cleake. He blamed the animal for the events that occurred on that day, never forgiving the dog or any of its race until he was at least eight years old. Maybe his memory of the ordeal lasted longer than he thought.

Blog 6 - The Crime
I was walking home from Alfonso’s Pet’s when I noticed a small shed behind the sawmill theater that I’d never seen before. I decided to go investigate the foreign scene. While walking over I noticed some people passed out along the edge of the theater. It was odd because they looked well clothed and taken care of, not the stereotypical image of someone who has passed out. When I reached the shed I realized it was locked up and began to run away. I didn’t want to miss my favorite TV program which came on at 7:00 and he got off work at 6:50. Really work got off at 7 as well, but I made a deal with the boss since both of us wanted to watch the program. Anyways, when I came around the side of the shed I bumped into someone. There was very little light at that time of day, and I could barely see him. He didn’t have a good view of me either as I was wearing a dark-blue sweatshirt. I needed to keep warm. I think some of their things fell, but I didn’t bother to look back. I wanted to get home as soon as possible. I got home just as the intro was ending and didn’t miss a beat of the episode’s plot.

Blog 5 - It's The Most Dangerous Time Of The Year...
It was almost Christmas and Cleake was finishing his final day at work for the year on December 22. It was a rather busy time as many people want to surprise their loved ones with the animal they always wanted, but other than that it was just a normal winter day. Upon leaving the building, Cleake heard childrens laughing, singing, and walking down the street. He followed them out of curiosity as to what was going on. He saw their skates and somehow didn’t put two and two together that they were going to the lake to skate. He reached the lake and finally realized it. He wished he had brought his skates. He used to love skating, so without thinking Cleake started running onto the ice because he just couldn’t resist. He, surprisingly, easily held his balance despite it being quite difficult. Everything was fabulous for Cleake, gliding across the ice with pure happiness and joy, until he reached the soft spot where everyone had been skating. Although Cleake was light, he weighed enough to fall directly through the ice. Everyone around panicked and tried to help him out, but Cleake was flailing around, worried for his life. As his body temperature plummeted, so did his chances of survival. It was beginning to look dim as he had sunk low enough to where hands weren’t even reaching him anymore. Cleake faded away... Cleake woke up. He was on his back in the park and a crowd of people were around him. He was shivering in his wet clothes, but he had regained consciousness as he had began to warm up to a desirable temperature. He apologized to everybody, who were just happy he was alive, and went home. It was likely Cleake wouldn’t be seen much outside of the apartments until his work started back up.
